TVC has announced the installation of cutting-edge technology at Long Stone Manor, a new 60-bed care home by Care UK in Wilmslow. With a focus on enhancing both resident experience and operational efficiency, TVC has delivered a comprehensive AV solution that integrates seamlessly into the home’s design and ethos of high-quality care.

Upon entering Long Stone Manor’s reception area, visitors are immediately welcomed by a Mitchell & Brown 43” Full HD Android Smart TV, powered by MySign’s innovative digital signage software.
This system is a standout feature, providing dynamic, real-time information to both staff and visitors. MySign’s advanced software delivers a range of essential updates, such as information on resident locations for visiting family members, upcoming activities, employee highlights and live news.
The system is cloud-based, allowing staff to easily manage and update content, ensuring that information is always current and relevant.For resident entertainment and comfort, TVC installed 60 Mitchell & Brown 43” Full HD Android Smart TVs across all bedrooms.
These TVs were selected after careful consultation with Care UK to meet their specific requirements for ease of use, durability and functionality. The 43” Smart TVs, equipped with Freeview Play, offer residents easy access to on-demand content from major channels such as BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
This feature is particularly valuable for residents who wish to catch up on their favourite TV shows or explore new programming, with personalised recommendations to enhance their viewing experience.
The addition of a seven-year warranty on each TV provides peace of mind, ensuring long-term reliability and minimal maintenance for Care UK. In the communal lounge areas, TVC installed five Mitchell & Brown JB-55BL1811 4K Ultra HD Linux Smart TVs.
These 55” models offer 4K picture quality, making them ideal for shared entertainment experiences. To enhance viewing flexibility and comfort, TVC complemented the installation with B-Tech’s Flat Screen Wall Mounts, which feature tilt and swivel functionality.
These mounts, strategically placed in all lounge areas, bedrooms and the reception, provide easy adjustments to optimise viewing angles, minimise glare and ensure a comfortable experience for all.
The B-Tech ‘hook-on’ system ensures a quick and secure installation, while integrated cable management maintains a clean and organised environment throughout the care home.
