Prove your humanity

Jamie Erasmus is the new managing director of the award-winning, London-based home integration firm, James + Giles (J+G).

As design director at Knektd (2012-2107), and most recently, the owner of JPE Audio Visual, Jamie is renowned as a technology expert, a design-orientated thinker and a business leader within the home technology field. He replaces Giles Sutton at J+G who has recently moved to trade body, CEDIA where he will be senior vice president of industry engagement.

“J+G is a very successful business, with an outstanding team of people,” says Jamie. “The company is highly respected by its peers within the industry and by the many architects, designers, developers and high net worth individuals that it serves. The opportunity to take such a well-known and admired business to the next level with all the expertise and resources at its command rarely comes along, and, when it does, you just have to take it.”

He adds, “In many ways, it’s a completely natural evolution for J+G and for me, personally. Giles and I share the same business ideals, the same commitment to great project aesthetics and interior detailing, and the same passion for professional home technology and the amazing benefits that it can bring to our customers. I’m also looking forward to growing the business with my own fresh ideas, experiences and connections within the design and build community.”

“I am incredibly proud of the company I have built, but at the same time, I find myself ready for a new challenge.” comments Giles. “Having known Jamie for many years, I am convinced he is the right person to lead J+G. He has the talent and the industry experience, the business skills and the vision to take J+G forwards into an exciting and prosperous future.”
