Buddy Platform Limited, a leader in IoT and cloud-based solutions has announced the introduction of the Buddy Cloud to deliver what it says is the world’s first smart and connected recreational vehicle.
Starting with the 2019 Airstream Smart Classic, Buddy Cloud technology digitally connects owners to their recreational vehicles from anywhere.
This customer experience is Airstream’s first to include Buddy Cloud technology, bringing new capabilities to enhance this iconic vehicles.
Buddy Platform’s technology inside the 2019 Airstream Smart Classic travel trailer coordinates communication between the trailer, Buddy Cloud, and the Airstream owner’s mobile app.
Trailer functions such as lighting, air conditioning, awning, water, propane, battery levels and more can be controlled and monitored remotely.
Buddy Cloud technology was originally developed to connect disparate systems within Smart Cities, and is the backbone to all of Buddy Platform’s solutions like Buddy Ohm and Parse on Buddy.
From connecting functions and amenities within trailers to monitoring energy resources within buildings, to unifying infrastructures in cities, Buddy can deliver smart connectivity and monitoring solutions for many IoT use cases.
