AliceAtlantic Technology has developed a compact Dolby Atmos enabled ‘module’ that can be added to existing systems using Atlantic Technology speakers, or to any existing home theatre.
The new Atlantic Technology 44-DA Dolby Atmos-enabled loudspeaker module incorporates a 130mm (5¼-inch) woofer and 25mm (1-inch) silk dome tweeter in a concentric driver array (CDA), which fires from the top of the speaker enclosure at a precisely determined angle. Particular attention has been paid to delivering a ‘controlled acoustic scatter’.
Measuring 140mm x 212mm x 240mm (HWD), the Atlantic 44-DA compact speaker module is designed to fit on top of Atlantic’s THX-certified 4400 LR speakers, creating an integrated, ‘one-piece’ look that delivers Dolby Atmos soundtracks with clarity.
Not stopping there, the 44-DAs are well suited to being used on top of other speakers or as ‘stand-alone’ elevation speakers as part of a complete Dolby Atmos system.
