Prove your humanity

Klipsch has revealed that it will be donating a portion of its Black Friday website sales to charity in aid of pancreatic cancer. The goal is to raise at least $20,000 from Thanksgiving Day to Giving Tuesday (November 22 – 27, 2018).

A portion of the proceeds from Klipsch’s Black Friday sales will go to The Autumn Leaves Project, which was founded in 2013 by singer, songwriter and producer Butch Walker. Walker founded the organisation after his father passed away suddenly from pancreatic cancer to optimize the quality of life for those diagnosed.

“Pancreatic cancer doesn’t give you a chance to reconcile with it, doesn’t let you make plans sometimes or prepare for the ending; it just usually sneaks up on you and gives you no warning until it’s too late,” said Butch Walker.

Walker and Klipsch have worked together before, with the two collaborating on the ‘Keepers of Sound’ video series. This is the first time the firm has supported Walker’s charity efforts publicly, however.

Klipsch’s Black Friday deals have seen deep discounts across many of the company’s products, with some having been discounted up to 50%. 4% of all sales will be donated to The Autumn Leaves Project.
