A duo of range topping in-ceiling speakers have been added to the Elipson Audio Architect Range.
The INF6 and INF8 in-ceiling speakers feature many of the long-established design and performance characteristics of the successful Infinite range and are designed to blend seamlessly and discretely into any high-performance home cinema.
To cover the main requirements of installers and home owners, the speakers are available as either a 6in or 8in drive unit. The dual co-axial design of the INF in-ceiling models means that they have a compact footprint relative to their performance levels. Despite this they retain a high level of audio performance and accurate reproduction of film soundtracks as demanded by passionate consumers, says the maker.
A key trickle-down technology from the full-size Infinite range are the materials used for the main bass and mid drive unit. This blend of carbon fibre and PMI, first pioneered in the Infinite 8 and 12 models, gives accurate and fast playback whilst retaining a naturalness of sound.
Designed specifically for their in-ceiling applications, the INF6 & INF8 have Titanium dome tweeters (19 and 25mm respectively) that are adjustable by 30° in all directions to aid flexibility in install and application.
Installation is simple and features the industry standard locking system. Both speakers come finished in White (with grills) and are ready to paint to match the customers décor.
Pricing for the Elipson speakers is set to be highly competitive and takes into account the need for multi-channel applications, and yet also reflects the premium quality and performance of the INF6 and INF8. Priced per speaker the MSRP’s are £299 (INF6) and £349 (INF8) respectively. Both speakers are available now.
