Mark Levinson Debuts The 600 Series

HARMAN Luxury Audio Group has announced the launch of the Mark Levinson 600 Series, a new chapter in the brand’s legendary pursuit of musical fidelity.

Making its world debut at HIGH END Munich 2025, the 600 Series redefines what’s possible from preamplifiers and amplifiers, delivering an experience of power, precision, and purity that is unmistakably Mark Levinson, says the brand.

The series introduces three new reference components: the № 626 Dual-Monaural Preamplifier, the № 632 Dual-Monaural Amplifier, and the flagship № 631 Monaural Amplifier—all designed, engineered and assembled in the USA.

“The Mark Levinson 600 Series reflects more than 50 years of mastering the art and science of sound,” says Jim Garrett, Senior Director, Product Strategy and Planning, HARMAN Luxury Audio. “It’s about more than technical excellence, it’s about capturing the emotion, power, and nuance of a musical performance with breathtaking clarity. With its bold new design and uncompromising performance, the 600 Series pays tribute to our legacy and sets out to exceed the expectations of the most discerning listeners.”

For over five decades, Mark Levinson has earned its place among the most respected names in high-fidelity audio. The 600 Series continues this tradition with components that are designed to be as visually commanding as they are sonically transparent. Each model is built upon Mark Levinson’s proprietary Pure Path circuit philosophy and features the brand’s Tectonic industrial design, sculpted from solid aluminium and accented with red signature lighting that glows like embers beneath volcanic glass.

Every detail, from the custom-machined enclosures to the glass core and mechanically isolated foot architecture, speaks to the brand’s commitment to performance and purity. These are components not just meant to be heard, but felt.

The № 626 Dual-Monaural Preamplifier is a celebration of sonic fidelity, blending an all-analogue signal path with a high-resolution digital core. At its heart is the Precision Link III DAC, capable of decoding up to 32-bit / 384kHz PCM and native DSD audio through its six digital inputs. A fully balanced Pure Path architecture anchors the analogue stage, while a Pure Phono MM/MC phono stage and Main Drive Class A headphone amplifier make the № 626 a complete solution for every source. Designed with modular isolation, dual power supplies, and vibration-damped foot architecture, this is a preamplifier that lets the music speak for itself and say everything.

Designed for those who demand authority and refinement in equal measure, the № 632 Dual-Monaural Amplifier and № 631 Monaural Amplifier deliver dynamic headroom and clarity that unveil the full scale of a performance.

Both amplifiers feature Class A/AB operation, Pure Path fully balanced signal paths, and robust toroidal power supplies housed within their own dedicated modular chassis. The № 632 offers stereo flexibility and dual-mono separation, while the № 631 delivers powerful performance as a single-channel unit, unleashing music with stunning impact, tonal depth, and holographic imaging, says the maker.

Mark Levinson argues, whether driving the most demanding loudspeakers or resolving the most delicate passages, the 600 Series amplifiers deliver music with breathtaking dimensionality and grace.

The Mark Levinson 600 Series made its global debut during the exclusive HARMAN Summit of Sound event on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at HIGH END Munich. The Mark Levinson 600 Series will be available in Q4 2025 to select Mark Levinson retailers and partners worldwide. Recommended retail prices are:
