Prove your humanity

UK distributor Harmony HiFi has launched a limited-time trade-in promotion designed to help Hi-Fi retailers generate sales opportunities and introduce more customers to the Fezz range of valve amplifiers.

Running from October 19 to November 30, 2026, the ‘Trade In, Tube Up’ campaign allows customers to trade in an existing amplifier, DAC or phono stage and receive up to 100% of its original purchase price towards selected Fezz valve amplifiers.

The initiative follows the Fezz Titania MK2 receiving the EISA Best Tube Amplifier 2026–2027 Award and provides participating retailers with an additional incentive to encourage customers considering an upgrade or a move into valve amplification.

For specialist Hi-Fi retailers, trade-in promotions can provide a useful way to re-engage existing customers, encourage demonstrations and create opportunities to discuss the benefits of different amplification technologies. The campaign could prove particularly relevant to customers who have previously considered valve amplification but have been reluctant to make the financial commitment.

Designed and manufactured in Poland, Fezz amplifiers combine traditional valve technology with contemporary styling and practical features. Central to the brand’s approach are toroidal output transformers developed by parent company Toroidy, which specialises in transformer engineering.

The promotion covers three models from the Fezz portfolio:

  • Fezz Titania MK2: A push-pull valve amplifier designed to offer the power and versatility needed to partner with a wide range of loudspeakers.
  • Fezz Mira Ceti MK2: A single-ended 300B valve amplifier aimed at listeners seeking the distinctive presentation and musical character associated with this type of design.
  • Fezz Luna Mini: A compact model offering a more accessible entry point into valve amplification.

Under the terms of the promotion, customers can trade in an eligible amplifier, DAC or phono stage from a recognised manufacturer and receive credit towards a qualifying Fezz product. The recommended retail price of the new Fezz amplifier must be at least 2.5 times the original purchase price of the trade-in equipment.

All trade-ins are subject to approval, and customers must provide their original proof of purchase. Applications must be submitted through a participating authorised Fezz retailer before November 30, 2026.

With specialist Hi-Fi retail increasingly reliant on demonstrating the benefits of upgrading rather than simply competing on price, the promotion offers dealers another reason to invite customers back into the showroom. It also creates an opportunity to demonstrate the differences between valve and solid-state amplification, potentially opening conversations about wider system upgrades and loudspeaker matching.

Retailers interested in participating or finding out more about the campaign should contact Harmony HiFi.
