Fine Sounds UK, the country’s McIntosh and Sonus faber distributor, is set to become bigger than ever as it expands its headquarters in Fife, Scotland, to house a greater range of hi-fi and ‘Ci-Fi’ products from its brands.
Fine Sounds UK’s new larger facility means more products, including AV racks and isolation devices from Italian specialist Bassocontinuo, can be held in stock at any one time, ready to ship directly to the company’s expanding dealer network. The result, says the company, is a far better customer experience as waiting times for the distributor’s imported hi-fi ranges are greatly reduced.
The expansion promptly follows Fine Sounds UK’s April announcement that the company has expanded its music and movie portfolio to include McIntosh and Sonus faber installation products. Concurrently, Fine Sounds UK also became an official CEDIA partner, bringing McIntosh and Sonus faber’s high-performance ‘Ci-Fi’ offerings to the organisation’s accredited installers (and its customers) for the first time.
The new facility, which is also supporting British jobs, is timed to assist Fine Sounds UK’s growing network of audio dealers, installers and designers, as McIntosh, Sonus faber and Bassocontinuo rollout a number of new products for 2021 and beyond.
Commenting on Fine Sounds UK’s expansion, Managing Director Tim Jordan says, “Fine Sounds UK has been gaining momentum as the UK’s definitive high-performance audio distributor, ever since its birth just a few short months ago in August 2020. Our new headquarters enables us to hold more McIntosh, Sonus faber and Bassocontinuo products than ever before, meaning music lovers can source our iconic brands through our UK and Ireland dealer network more quickly and without the lead times often associated with imported hi-fi products.”
