DbM has announced a new UK distribution partnership to bring the high-quality range of Audio Over IP (AoIP) products and solutions from growing European technology brand, nexgentec, to integrators working in the high-end residential and superyacht sector.

nexgentec aims to empower the IP network for audio distribution using its pioneering implementation and bespoke innovations, including Dante and AES76 technology. Known for their reliability and high-performance, nexgentec’s extensive range of digital signal processors, amplifiers and digital and multichannel audio-interfaces work together to distribute audio signals from any source to any zone over a home or superyacht’s network infrastructure.
Patching and routing become logical functions configured in the nexgentec software, not via physical wired links. Loudspeakers can be connected via a single network cable and the nexgentec approach also eliminates the need and limitations of AV matrixes in traditional audio distribution systems whilst always retaining the integrity and quality of the audio signal in transmission. Integrators can also access and control nexgentec powered audio systems remotely, resolving any issues quickly and efficiently, without the need for an in-person visit.

DbM will supply the UK and EIRE markets with the full range of nexgentec products and solutions and support the brand with training to help integrators in the design, specification, installation and commissioning of an AoIP network. The nexgentec range will also be added to DbM’s complimentary Design and Specification Service, which helps integrators specify the right products and solutions for their projects.
