Qobuz has announced a partnership with independent music and entertainment company Create Music Group to bring Create’s catalogue to Qobuz subscribers worldwide.
Known for its global impact across dance, rap and hip-hop genres, Create’s music is now available on Qobuz in the best available quality, expanding the platform’s catalogue and offering fans broader access to the music they love.
Create Music Group’s catalogue on Qobuz will include music from artists across rap, hip-hop, electronic and other genres, including Jason Derulo, DeeBaby, Marshmello, Deadmau5 and bbno$. The partnership will also introduce Qobuz subscribers to rising talent and new releases from Create’s growing roster, with new music and additional catalogues being added on an ongoing basis.
“Adding the Create Music Group catalogue to Qobuz answers customer requests to continually expand our library,” says Qobuz’s Managing Director, North America and Northern Europe, Dan Mackta. “Create works with some of the most important artists and labels in contemporary music and Qobuz is excited to feature them.”
Darlene Hall, Director of Distribution at Create Music Group adds, “This partnership with Qobuz reflects our continued focus on expanding access to Create’s global catalogue while aligning with platforms that prioritise quality and discovery. We’re excited to connect our artists with Qobuz’s passionate listener base and to support new opportunities for discovery across both frontline and catalogue releases.”
This deal follows partnerships initiated by Qobuz in recent years with other labels and distributors across multiple genres, including Blue Note, Deutsche Grammophon, ACT Music and ECM Records.
