ClearVC has announced the full acquisition of video conferencing integrator VideoCentric in a strategic move that accelerates the company’s national growth and strengthens its ability to deliver end-to-end collaboration solutions across the UK.
The Greater Manchester-headquartered AV and unified communications (UC) specialist says the deal brings nearly 40 years of combined industry experience and significantly increases its presence in the South of England. The move comes at a time when the UK commercial AV market is experiencing strong demand for hybrid working solutions, enterprise video conferencing and fully integrated unified communications platforms.
The agreement also includes VideoCentric’s newly opened showroom in Edinburgh, which will act as a Scottish hub for demonstrations, innovation and training. This supports ClearVC’s long-term strategy to offer true end-to-end UK coverage and give organisations across business, education, healthcare and the public sector direct access to hands-on demonstrations of next-generation AV technology.
Adrian Hancock, Founder and Chairman, ClearVC

VideoCentric’s directly employed engineers join the ClearVC team, ensuring all service delivery remains in-house. This reinforces the company’s focus on quality, consistency and responsiveness at a time when demand for reliable AV solutions continues to grow. With a reduced need for long-distance deployments, ClearVC says it is now positioned to respond faster and more efficiently across all regions.
Founded in 2001, VideoCentric has built a strong reputation in the Thames Valley and across the South of England. Its expertise spans AV integration, equipment hire, installation, analytics and long-term support. The company is known for its partnerships with leading videoconferencing vendors and for delivering high-performance collaboration spaces that support hybrid working and digital transformation strategies.
Rebecca McCartney, Managing Director of ClearVC, says, “This acquisition is about more than just expansion, it’s about strengthening our technical capacity, deepening in-house expertise and delivering consistent, high-quality service across the UK. By uniting two organisations known for innovation and engineering excellence in the AV and unified communications space, we’re building a more agile and resilient operation. It means we can respond faster, deliver smarter and continue investing in the talent, technology and infrastructure that set us apart in the North and beyond.”
The two businesses will continue to operate under their respective brands in the near term, with a phased integration strategy focused on preserving service continuity for customers. No job losses are expected and new roles have already been created across sales, finance, HR and compliance at ClearVC’s Manchester HQ and beyond to support group-wide growth.
The future
Looking ahead, the group plans continued investment in both its north and south operations and the new Edinburgh showroom, further strengthening its ability to deliver cutting-edge AV and UC solutions across the UK. The acquisition forms part of ClearVC’s wider growth strategy, combining organic development with targeted acquisitions to expand technical capability and national coverage.
As the AV and collaboration market continues to evolve, the combined business is well-positioned to deliver agile, in-house, future-ready solutions for organisations navigating hybrid work, digital transformation and modern communication challenges.
