The Air30 is a welcome addition to the selection of Wi-Fi access points offered in the Clear Flow range as it features the newest WiFi 6 (or 802.11ax if you want to get technical) technology for optimum performance.
Wi-Fi 6 technology is a new and more efficient way of handling data, improving speeds and increasing the number of users. Wi-Fi 6 systems can deliver multiple data packets to multiple devices at once making it a faster process simply by a more efficient handling service. Additionally, the bandwidth of Wi-Fi 6 is increased allowing for a greater number of concurrent connections meaning a faster connection to the network for user devices.
All of this improves the speed of the connection to the Wi-Fi network, download speeds, increased numbers of users/devices etc meaning a much faster and more capable system. What does that really mean? Antiference says, put simply, if users want to stream a 4K or 8K movie while the kids are gaming online for example, Wi-Fi 6 will enable greater bandwidth to accommodate increased usage like this.
The new Clear Flow Air 30 features Wi-Fi 6 tech as well as a host of other useful features. The dual band access point can deliver Wi-Fi signals on the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz bands meaning a long range and fast transmission as well as the option for multiple SSIDs and the ability to manage users and devices. The Air 30 is also fitted with dual Gigabit Ethernet ports so is ideal for super-fast broadband systems.
The Air 30 is fitted with the same onboard programming software as other Clear Flow devices so is a seamless upgrade to any existing system and can be installed quickly and easily. The Wi-Fi signal is delivered from x4 3dBi antennas offering a long-range system reaching areas previously not covered and with much faster speeds.
The team at Antiference has also been working on a cloud-based control system for Clear Flow devices so watch this space for the launch soon. The Stratus cloud control system from Clear Flow will enable a centrally controlled Wi-Fi network with remote access via a secure portal enabling installers to offer a more comprehensive installation and support service.
