Amina has introduced the Sapphire S200, the latest addition to its enhanced Sapphire range of invisible loudspeakers.
Designed for projects where installation space is at a premium, the new model combines a compact footprint with the performance and reliability expected from the Sapphire family.
Measuring 200mm x 450mm, just 31mm deep and weighing only 1.1kg, the Sapphire S200 is the smallest loudspeaker in the range. Its lightweight design makes it well suited to single-person installation, including ceiling-mounted applications where handling larger panels can be more challenging.
The S200 takes its name from its 200mm panel width, allowing it to fit into locations where larger invisible loudspeakers are impractical. The design is particularly suited to period properties, heritage buildings and projects with restricted joist or stud spacing, giving installers a discreet audio solution where space is limited.
Despite its compact dimensions, the S200 incorporates the same technology found across the latest Sapphire range. This includes Amina’s Symphony Cell composite panel technology, acoustically tuned frames and premium components developed through more than 25 years of invisible loudspeaker design.
The loudspeaker is rated at 50W RMS (100W peak), delivers a maximum sound pressure level of 96dB SPL, offers 180-degree hemispherical dispersion and has a quoted frequency response of 60Hz-20kHz.
While its smaller panel size naturally affects maximum output and low-frequency extension compared with the larger Sapphire 250 and Sapphire 375 models, Amina says the S200 delivers balanced, detailed sound with impressive clarity for its size, making it suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial installations.
The company says the introduction of the S200 responds to growing demand for invisible loudspeaker solutions in challenging installation environments, offering greater flexibility when specifying systems without compromising interior aesthetics.
