Visitors to Essential Install Live! have been receiving up-dates on Habitech’s Stream 4K Player, part of the company’s home server player system. Shipping this June, the 4K player (ContentPlayer 4K) uses a new generation of 22nm Quad Core processing mixed with Iris graphics processing, combined to deliver first-class playback at any resolution up to and including UHD and 4K.

Habitech has also been showcasing Coolbrium. The latest interface for MODE’s lightings eDIN system, the line offers attractive capacitive touch control plates, available in black or white glass.

Habitech has been showing how the surface above each button can be laser-engraved with text or icons from a wide choice of templates with a turn-around time of just two days. Each button has an RGB LED back light, which can be programmed with different colours to further enhance the look of the system.

Visitors have also been learning about the 4K-ready evolution of the Wyrestorm Pro Plus HDBaseT matrix range, offering delivery of full 4K video@30Hz up to 70m/230ft and 1080p HD up to 100m/328ft. The Pro Plus MX-0808-PP-POH and modular MX-0808-PP-POH-CUSTOM matrixes accept up to 8 x 4K sources to 8 4K Ultra HD outputs.
