Jordan O'BrienBlustream appeared onto the UK scene for HDMI distribution back at ISE 2015, since then the brand has established itself with a strong position offering of HDBaseT solutions.
Company MD, Phil Davis, explains: “It’s been a phenomenal first 18 months for the brand in Europe and we’ve kept the philosophy simple to achieve this.

As for what is happening at the show, Phil says: “Firstly, we have our 2nd generation of HDBaseT Matrix and extenders to showcase. We have now added HDCP 2.2, Line Level volume control and a Web GUI (Including apps) to all of our latest products. Visitors to the stand were able to play with the new control Apps and have a walk through of all of the new advanced features. Secondly, we launched Blustream Multicast, our new advanced UHD Video over IP distribution system. This product has been developed over the past 12 months and we are confident it can be a game changer.”
Specifically on Multicast, Phil expands: “There is no doubt that the market for IP video distribution is growing rapidly. Over the next 2-3 years we expect to see a significant continued shift towards IP distribution in both residential and commercial installations. With a few good quality competitors already in the market, we have taken the time to listen to market feedback and engineer a range of products that fit within the philosophy of Blustream. Our new Multicast solution will offer full 4K UHD support, unlimited potential configurations and easy to use configuration software. All priced sensibly and supported to the highest standard by our UK team.”
