Antiference has revealed the Conexer Quad HDMI – DVB-T modulator, which can encode up to four HDMI source devices such as Sky or Blu Ray and convert the content into digital channels for Freeview HD systems.

The generated channels can be tuned into with any Freeview HD TV set and the resolution output will be up to 1080p, depending on the input.

The output can be configured in DVB-C or DVB-T, while the inputs will be assigned to two output streams (multiplexes), which are adjacent to each other and the second mux position is controlled directly by the position of the first.

Features include channel name edit, LCN (Logical Channel Number) and UHF/Band III output options.

The programming can be achieved using the DTViFace, which can be downloaded from the Antiference website.

The range features two products which have been designed to meet the needs of the commercial market as well as the domestic/AV market.

In the range is a shelf/19in rack mounted version (achieved with mounting ‘ears’) for domestic AV systems (DMHD04D) and a wall mounted version for use with other Conexer modulators & transmodulators (DMHD04C).

Both products function identically, with Antiference only differing the design to fit in with different installation requirements.
