Smart-e has launch the latest product is the SDSC 18Gbps product range, the SDSC-4×4-RSP HDMI/HDBaseT matrix, joining the already successful SDSC-8×8-RSP. The unit is capable of switching and extending 18Gbps video up to an impressive distance of 150m, which together with individual output downscaling from 4K>1080p make this product suitable for Corporate, Educational and Residential use.
Created using 30 years’ experience of designing products for the AV and Broadcast market, Smart-e has used its extensive technical knowledge to produce a range of comprehensive switching matrices and extenders for video resolutions up to 4K @ 18Gbps over a single Cat 6 /6A cable.
The SDSC range including the SDSC-4×4 and 8×8 provides the a solution to the challenge of distributing high resolution video and audio signals throughout a building. Crystal clear images and hi-fidelity sound can now be transmitted using only a single piece of network cable to each display. Distances of up to 150m can be achieved in a single run making the unit ideal for large development wide distribution.

The SDSC-4×4-RSP and SDSC-8×8-RSP can support HDMI resolutions up to 4K @18Gbps. Both units meet HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2/1.3 specifications and can distribute the latest video enhancements of HDR 10+, Dolby Vision and HGL. There is a comprehensive suit of control methods including infrared, RS232 and IP together with an internal web browser for ease of configuration. De-embedded audio is available on the rear on the unit offering an easy interface to separate power amplifiers
The SDSC-4×4-RSP and 8×8-RSP are available direct from Smart-e and its distributor network. To assist with the installation process and technical queries, Smart-e is also providing dedicated product training sessions for installers. All Smart-e equipment comes with a 3-year warranty and a high level of unlimited technical support.
