WiiM has confirmed that its first soundbar, the WiiM Bar, will launch in the UK in mid-October, with several new features announced ahead of its release, including Control4 integration and Roon Ready certification.
The additions make the WiiM Bar particularly relevant to professional installers looking for a flexible home cinema and music solution that can integrate into wider smart home systems.
Featuring a 3.0.2 Dolby Atmos configuration, the WiiM Bar incorporates eight custom-designed drivers, four passive radiators and dedicated height channels. It can also expand wirelessly into a 5.1.2 surround system using compatible WiiM devices.
Control4 support enables the soundbar to integrate into compatible smart home installations, while Roon Ready certification provides access to Roon’s music management and playback ecosystem.
Music performance is another priority, with support for up to 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res audio, gapless playback, RoomFit room correction and customisable 10-band graphic and parametric EQ. Source-specific EQ settings are applied automatically as inputs change.

Additional features include HDMI eARC, AI-powered dialogue enhancement, a dedicated Music mode and access to more than 20 streaming services. A 2.1in circular touchscreen provides playback controls, source switching and access to EQ settings.
The WiiM Bar integrates with the wider WiiM ecosystem, offering multi-room grouping and control through the WiiM Home App, touchscreen, voice commands or supplied remote.
Priced at £449, the WiiM Bar is available to pre-order through selected UK retailers, including Richer Sounds, AV.com and Peter Tyson.
