Naim has announced that following an extensive beta test, it is releasing Firmware updates on October 6 enabling TIDAL lossless streaming together with a host of other new features and improvements.

Streamer Firmware Version 4.3 will enable native support for TIDAL on Naim’s all-in-one players, network players and streaming preamplifiers.

Mu-so Firmware Version 1.3 will enable native support for TIDAL on Mu-so wireless music systems alongside support for gapless playback, Seek2Time via the Naim App, a new alarm clock feature and multi room master capability.

A necessary update to the Naim App for iOS and Android will be released to coincide with these new firmware updates.

Naim says beta testers are already reporting how they are already listening to more new music.

Using the Naim App for iOS and Android devices, the user will now be able to select TIDAL as an input from the home screen.

This will then give full access to the TIDAL library of millions of songs in lossless CD quality.
