Alongside building an outstanding reputation for supplying premium cable products, Webro has amassed a team of dedicated experts with over 350 years of combined industry experience, who are ready and waiting to help support your next custom install project.

Webro has recently joined CEDIA, the industry’s only certifying body. This is part of a continued drive to ensure a professional approach to distribution, delivering competitive, high-quality product solutions backed by the exceptional standards of service expertise. Technical reassurance is provided in the form of relevant industry approvals including HDBaseT and CAI and meeting all current Construction Products Regulations (CPR) standards. This includes products right up to Class B2ca.

Bespoke solutions

Webro commands a unique position in the market, providing specialist support to custom install and AV integrators. Applying extensive knowledge and resourcefulness it creates new solutions that can’t otherwise be serviced or supplied elsewhere, says the company. A prime example can be seen in the recent launch of WEB-LED & WEB-MOD cables, designed to meet demand for the current trend of installing LED feeds & LED strip lights. Prior to their introduction, installers had no suitable ‘made for the job’ options. The Webro Team listened to frustrated installers and collaborated with them to create two new Low Smoke Non-Halogen (LSNH) cables that are easy to route and dress.

In the case of the WEB-LED cable, it has 6 cores of 1mm² or 1.5mm² colour coded Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, White, Black to align with the RGB+CCT LED strip light colour spectrum, which includes the full range of white colour temperatures. Both are stocked on bulk drums and can be custom cut to length.

In partnership

Unified support is a key driving force behind the Webro team’s success. It starts with looking after each other – demonstrated to full effect during the Pandemic with an array of support initiatives that included training and development, regular mental health check-ins, and online social events. In turn, the highly qualified, cohesive team supports customers in ‘partnership’ with a collaborative mindset, from helping them to select the most appropriate product for their install, to clarifying the latest updates to cable standards – helping them understand the new UKCA marking process for example.

Dependable expertise

In terms of service, rapid fulfilment is propelled from a fully stocked 35,000sq ft warehouse operation that enables the team to generate bespoke call-off orders that are only invoiced when the cable is despatched. As distribution experts, Webro boasts a time-served understanding of site logistics across everything from drum sizes to manageable weights. Response times to enquiries and technical questions are second-to-none, and the approach to availability and lead-times is always focused on reliability, dependability, and trust. Essentially, the Webro Team understands installers’ needs and pains points, and works closely with them to help manage projects to ensure that they’re delivered on time, to spec, and on budget. Webro says the company is perfectly placed to support any project, regardless of size or scope.

The team has also expanded recently, being joined by two experts in the custom install cable market. Combined, they have over 35 years of industry knowledge and experience, developing many of the most popular cables used today, and supplying some of the biggest custom install projects seen to date. This investment clearly demonstrates the company’s solid commitment to the AV and custom install sector.

Recently appointed Business Development Manager on Specialist cables, Gary Banfield, comments, “I’m excited to have joined the Webro team, and I’m proud to be leading the development of new products to the industry. We have a clear vision of what we want to achieve, and how we will deliver the exceptional service levels and technical knowledge into the custom install market that our customers in other sectors have come to expect and rely on.”

Above all else, with extensive knowledge, an unyielding commitment to stock & availability to provide choice, bespoke call-off, next-day delivery, and dependable partnership, installer projects undertaken with Webro are ensured to be a success.
