AWE, the UK custom install distributor, has revealed dates for its Spring AWE Expo, which will be held in Epsom.

Taking place on May 10 and 11, the Spring AWE Expo will showcase some of the latest products distributed by AWE. The distributor has also teased that attendees should expect some brand new company announcements.

Alongside the product launches and announcements, AWE is also keen to show off its newly updated show apartment and newly configured comms room, which has been fitted with two 44U Sanus component series AV racks.

“It has been six busy months since the last AWE Expo and we already have so much new stuff to share with the industry,” comments Stuart Tickle, managing director of AWE. “These events are always a great way to get everyone together to introduce new products, and have some useful conversations about how the various systems can fit into projects that our dealers are working on.  Just one useful nugget of information can pay for the time spent visiting us!”

Some of the products already set to be shown off at the event includes Draper’s new ambient light-rejecting ReAct fixed screen. The new screen has been installed in the AWE Cinema alongside the Marantz AV8802 processor and MM8077 power amplifiers, which boast Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound.

Installers attending the Spring AWE Expo will also get the chance to experience Panasonic’s latest range of UHD TVs first-hand. At the event AWE will showcase Panasonic’s DX902 series, which is available in 58 and 65in configurations.

Samsung’s line-up of SUHD TVs will also be on show, with the UE65KS8000 65in SUHD LED TV set to be showcased at the event. Boasting an extremely thin bezel and a Quantum dot display, Samsung’s latest UHD TV promises to offer an incredible viewing experience.

For those wanting to enjoy 4K UHD content from physical media, then Samsung’s first 4K UHD Blu-ray player will come as a welcome addition to the Spring AWE Expo. While Panasonic has beaten Samsung to the market, the UBD-K8500 was the first 4K UHD Blu-ray player to be revealed.

If that’s not enough to whet your appetite for the Spring AWE Expo, then the company says that it plans to have a whole host of other products on show. Amongst the products to be shown off will be screens from LG and Loewe, as well as KEF LS-50 bookshelf speakers, R-series floor standers and THX in-ceiling and in-wall speakers. HDanywhere’s mHub and Marantz’s SR5010 AV receiver will also make an appearance.
