Jordan O'BrienThose wanting to get their hands on Luxul’s newest wireless controller can now do so, as Invision has announced that shipping has begun.
Invision says that the new Luxul Wireless Controller enables ‘seamless roaming and simpler multi access point installations,’ due to the controller being designed with integrators in mind.
“The XWC-1000 is the first wireless controller designed specifically for the custom integration pro,” says Luxul CEO, Jeffrey Curtis.
“It addresses the primary wireless networking challenges our dealers face daily, including seamless roaming, simple setup and profitability. We’re excited to bring such a great product to market that helps our dealers efficiently and profitably deliver a superior wireless roaming experience and exceed customer expectations.”
The XWC-1000 is capable of managing up to 16 access points, as well as being compatible with all internal Luxul access point’s allowing installers to mix and match access point’s to maximise the performance and budget of each project.
Installers will be able to get the XWC-1000 either standalone or in kits complete with access points and PoE hardware.
The kits are available in two varieties, the XWS-1310 which contains an XWC-1000 controller, along with three XAP-310 access points and a 5-Port PoE Switch, there’s also the XWS-2500 which contains a XWC-1000 controller, along with two of the XAP-1500 access points and PoE injector.
