AliceATEN has launched the VM6404H, which it claims is the first true 4K seamless matrix switch on the market.
The matrix switch is particularly suitable for applications that require time-critical switching between sources, such as during stage shows, digital classrooms and conferences.
Available now, the 4×4 matrix switch has a scaler, supports 4K at 60Hz, HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, provides switching ‘at close to zero seconds’ and supports full playback of 4K content with no latency.
ATEN’s VM6404H offers an easy and affordable way to route up to four HDMI video sources and displays with a quick view of all port connections via the front panel LCD.

ATEN’s VM6404H 4K HDMI Matrix Switch with Scaler is compatible with both the latest 4K video resolution standards: 3840 x 2160 and 4096 x 2160.
An FPGA matrix architecture provides the VM6404H with the power capacity to process 4K resolutions and continuous video streams with real-time control and stable signal transmission.
Featuring a built-in scaling function, the VM6404H is able to unify different video source formats in order to render the best output resolutions. The product integrates video wall functionality with an easy-to-use web GUI, allowing a user to create eight connection profiles that can be customised into different video wall layouts.
