Reolink has unveiled its new Professional Series, a high-performance range of AI-powered IP cameras and NVR systems designed specifically for the evolving needs of small-to-medium businesses.

As the UK security landscape matures, businesses are increasingly looking for solutions that offer more than simple video recording. Designed to bridge the gap between entry-level surveillance products and more complex enterprise systems, the new Professional Series delivers scalable security solutions for sectors including retail, offices and multi-site operations.

The range was recently showcased at The Security Event 2026, underlining Reolink’s ambitions within the professional security market and giving installers and security professionals an opportunity to experience the new technology first hand.

At the core of the launch is ReoNeura AI technology, designed to transform surveillance from a passive background system into a more intelligent and proactive platform. Traditional security systems can often suffer from what the company describes as ‘false alarm fatigue’, whereas ReoNeura is designed to accurately identify people, vehicles and objects in real time.

This intelligence also powers an AI Video Search function, allowing users to locate incidents quickly by searching for specific actions or visual elements. Rather than manually reviewing hours of footage, users can search for details such as a particular vehicle type, a person wearing a blue T-shirt or even certain animal behaviour.

Beyond security, the Professional Series also introduces a range of operational and business intelligence tools designed to help businesses better understand how their premises are used.

Integrated Heatmap technology visually displays traffic distribution across a site, enabling users to identify high-traffic hotspots at a glance. Reolink says this can help businesses make more informed decisions regarding store layouts, product placement and staffing levels.

The range also combines People Counting and Zone Crowd Monitoring technologies to provide more refined operational data. While People Counting focuses on tracking the number of individuals crossing a designated line within a specific timeframe, Zone Crowd Monitoring is designed for real-time density analysis, making it particularly useful for active queue management and occupancy monitoring.

By processing all data directly on-device, Reolink says businesses retain full ownership and control of their information while benefiting from valuable operational insights.

To support growing businesses and more sophisticated installations, Reolink has also developed a dedicated Video Management System (VMS). Acting as a centralised management platform, the VMS allows businesses to manage multiple devices and locations from a single interface, helping address one of the biggest logistical challenges faced by expanding SMBs.

The professional-grade platform also supports up to 36 live camera streams simultaneously on a single screen, delivering comprehensive multi-site monitoring capabilities.

The Reolink Professional Series includes a broad portfolio of products including IP cameras, high frame rate 30FPS cameras, 180° dual-lens panoramic cameras, vandal-proof dome cameras, PTZ models and compatible NVR systems. Selected products also feature Alarm In/Out interfaces for flexible alarm integration and the company’s ColorX full-colour night vision technology.

By integrating these technologies into a single ecosystem, Reolink says the Professional Series delivers enhanced security coverage alongside professional-grade performance and operational intelligence for growing businesses.
