Jordan O'BrienAt CES 2017 it was all about slim wall mounting solutions for the new TVs, and it seems that Sanus is getting in on that trend. Announcing the VLCF613-B2, Sanus’ latest line-up of wall mounts are designed to be super slim, while retaining full motion control. The mounts work with TVs between 40in and 80in.
The VLF613 mount sits 47mm from the wall when folded flat, positioning the screen in a manner that complements the thin profile of modern TVs. Its full-motion capability permits the screen to be extended 342mm into the room and up to 50° of total swivel can be achieved. Virtual Axis finger-tip control enables the screen to be tilted to -8° for the optimum viewing angle if the screen is mounted above eye level.
In keeping with Sanus’ installer focused design criteria, the VLF613 incorporates ProSet post-installation height and level adjustments, which, together with lateral shift, enables fine-tuning of the position after it is attached to the wall. Cable management is integrated into the mount with a dedicated cable sleeve, and recesses in the arms in which to hide the cables. The wall mounted section of the unit hides the mounting hardware behind decorative hardware covers to maintain a clean look of the installation. The dual rail open wall plate provides ready access to wall sockets for quick and easy connections.
