WiiM launches first-ever soundbar: the WiiM Bar

WiiM is expanding its home theatre lineup with the debut of the WiiM Bar, its first-ever soundbar. Featuring a true 3.0.2 Dolby Atmos configuration powered by a custom 8-driver array and an intuitive touch display for on-device control, the WiiM Bar functions both as a high-performing standalone soundbar and as the centrepiece of a full 5.1.2 home theatre system.

The WiiM Bar places the listener at the centre of the action with top-firing height channels, while RoomFit auto-correction tailors the listening experience to a space.

The soundbar integrates seamlessly into the WiiM Ecosystem, enabling multi-room grouping, advanced EQ, and access to 20+ streaming services, all controllable from the app or directly from the WiiM Bar’s touch display.

“The WiiM Bar is a natural next step for our ecosystem, bringing the same simplicity and high-fidelity performance our community loves into the living room,” says Dr. Lifeng Zhao, CEO of WiiM. “With true Dolby Atmos sound, an intuitive touch display and the ability to expand from a standalone soundbar into a full surround setup, it’s designed to grow with the way our users enjoy music, movies and gaming.”

The WiiM Bar integrates seamlessly with the WiiM Home App, giving users full control over their audio experience across devices and rooms. From streaming on favourite platforms and managing EQ settings to grouping speakers and amplifiers or adjusting sound modes, everything is accessible through a simple and open interface.

A glass-covered 2.1-inch round touch display puts album art, playback controls, source switching, EQ, Smart Presets and personalisation directly on the soundbar.

The system delivers true 3.0.2 Dolby Atmos sound straight out of the box, using dedicated top-firing height channels to create a more immersive listening experience. Users can also expand it wirelessly into a full 5.1.2 surround sound system by pairing compatible WiiM devices as rear surrounds and a subwoofer.

Designed for movies, TV and music, the soundbar features an eight-driver array supported by four passive radiators. This includes front-firing mid-woofers and tweeters, alongside top-firing full-range drivers for height effects. Connectivity includes HDMI eARC support, while compatible audio formats include LPCM, Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, AC3, DTS and DTS.

WiiM’s RoomFit Room Correction technology automatically analyses the listening environment and adjusts audio performance to deliver balanced, optimised sound regardless of room layout or placement.

Dialogue clarity is enhanced through a Clear Voice Mode, which uses AI-powered processing to separate speech from background audio in real time, helping conversations sound more natural and intelligible. A Night Mode is also included, reducing the impact of loud effects while maintaining clear dialogue.

For streaming, users can access more than 20 music services through the WiiM Home App or stream directly using Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, Google Cast, Roon and other supported platforms.

Playback and audio settings can be controlled through the WiiM Home App, the integrated touch display, voice commands or the supplied remote control.

There are ongoing firmware updates planned which will add new features and refine performance based on real feedback from the WiiM community.

The WiiM Bar will launch in an exclusive, first edition glossy black finish while stocks last, whic is a now available for pre-sale at wiimhome.com.

It will be available for purchase in July 2026 for £449/€499/$479 USD through wiimhome.com, Amazon, and selected retail partners worldwide.
