Pro-Ject has announced its new configurator tool for the Xtension 9 turntable, giving customers the power to customise their audio system to their exact preferences.
When visiting the Xtension 9 page on the Pro-Ject Audio website, you can now select a “configure” option, which allows you to customise the plinth finish, tonearm, cartridge, and peripheral accessory options to create the perfect vinyl front end. The experts at Pro-Ject’s Austrian HQ then hand-assemble the chosen configuration.
The Xtension 9, an award-winning turntable, is designed for convenience. It incorporates all of Pro-Ject’s years of design experience into a slimline chassis that’s easily accommodated into almost any hi-fi system.
Its heavy aluminium platter rides on an inverted main bearing assembly that features a ceramic ball and magnetic support for frictionless rotation. Mounted onto a precision-machined wood chassis, the deck is then decoupled from its environment using high-end magnetically isolated suspension feet. The result is a stable turntable free from resonance and incredibly easy to use.
In an age where customisation is increasingly important to people, Pro-Ject’s configurator gives customers the power of choice.
In addition to the configurator, the Xtension 9 SuperPack is still available from stock, pre-built with a 9CC EVO tonearm and Pick-IT DS2 MC cartridge for a competitive price.
