Lewis CaliburnPremium Audio Company (PAC), a provider of premium audio solutions, has released several firmware updates for its AV receivers and Hi-Fi stereo receivers which improve audio playback, functionality and room correction experience on select Onkyo, Integra, Elite and Pioneer models.
The result is designed to make the entertainment investment of its customers even better with constant updates that improve the performance of the equipment they already own.
For the following models, new firmware enhancements will be available on October 28 and November 18, 2024:

Dirac Live Bass Control: Onkyo TX-RZ50 and Integra DRX-5.4 models only.
By purchasing a licence at the Dirac Live Store, users can add Dirac Live Bass Control Single Version from the Dirac Live Full Bandwidth feature.

With this new firmware update, these AVRs now play Dolby Atmos content via Amazon Music HD and Tidal Native Playback.

Source-Based Tone Mapping (SBTM) allows a portion of the HDR mapping to be performed by the source device, not the display device, automatically producing an optimised HDR signal to maximise processing and display capabilities without manual user configuration.

The setup screens for Onkyo, Integra and Pioneer smartphone applications have been changed to allow products to be easily connected using the Google Cast 2.0 network connection method.

Tidal Max can play Hi-Res Lossless Audio Codec content up to 192KHz / 24bit with smartphone applications from Onkyo, Integra and Pioneer.
Improve the Dirac Live measurement on the Onkyo/Integra/Pioneer Application: Onkyo TX-RZ70, TX-RZ50, TX-NR7100, Integra DRX-8.4 DRX-5.4, DRX-3.4, Elite/Pioneer VSX-LX805, VSX-LX505, VSX-LX305 and Pioneer VSA-LX805 models only.
This reduces the rate at which measurement errors appear in Onkyo/Integra/Pioneer applications, contributing to a smooth completion of the measurement.
This firmware update will be indicated via on-screen display and front panel display for Onkyo, Elite, and Pioneer models connected to the internet. For non-connected devices, software can be downloaded from the website and uploaded via USB drive.
The firmware update will be available on the Integra AVR by navigating to the Setup Firmware Menu and following the on-screen prompts.
