Legrand has unveiled a new premium Bticino 2 wire entrance panel, enabling installers and specifiers to bring features more commonly found in IP products to buildings equipped with 2 wire cabling.

The Linea 5000 entrance panel features a 7in touch screen display, a high quality, wide angle camera and a modern and intuitive graphic interface. The range is available in five contemporary 60% recycled aluminium finishes, which can be customised with company logos or building numbers. The digital display allows users to add logos and addresses as well as messages for visitors and couriers using the Home + Security app.

Designed to offer installers and specifiers maximum flexibility, Linea 5000 is suitable for residential and commercial spaces, including apartment blocks and complexes.

The device also offers several building entry features more commonly seen in IP-based devices, including timed entry and mobile device entry options, all of which are configurable via the Home+ Project app.

Richard Hopkins, Lead Marketing Manager, Working & Living Spaces at Legrand UK & Ireland, says, “We are continuously expanding our catalogue to equip installers with the products they need to maximise the functionality and features they can offer their clients.

“Linea 5000 adds to the breadth and depth of our catalogue with a highly adaptable device, suitable for installation as part of a wide range of applications. What is more, Linea 5000 is part of a range of connected devices which enables off-site configuration that improves the efficiency of the installation, reducing the number of days installers need to be on site. End users can also manage their panel via an easy to use app designed for PC and mobile devices.”
