Lewis CaliburnFocal has unveiled Diva Alta Utopia, the latest addition to its Diva Utopia range and the company’s most advanced wireless, active and connected loudspeaker system to date.
Developed alongside Focal’s sister brand, Naim, Diva Alta Utopia combines flagship acoustic engineering, integrated amplification, high-resolution and wireless connectivity in a sleek all-in-one solution, which is designed to deliver reference-level performance without the complexity – or cables – of traditional hi-fi systems.
The system supports a wide range of streaming and connectivity options, including Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz Connect, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, Bluetooth 5.3 and UPnP. HDMI eARC is also included for seamless TV integration, while smart home compatibility enables the platform to serve as a central hub for music, film and connected living.
Each speaker is powered by 600W of Naim-developed Class AB amplification distributed across four dedicated amplifier channels. This integrated approach removes the need for multiple external components while maintaining the high-performance sound quality expected by audiophiles.
Wireless communication between the speakers is handled via Ultra Wideband (UWB) technology, enabling lossless audio transmission beyond CD quality. The system supports playback of files up to 192kHz/24-bit, delivering reference-level performance without the need for speaker cables.
At its core is Naim’s Pulse streaming platform, which provides ultra-high-resolution audio processing up to 384kHz/32-bit. This ensures the system is equipped to meet the demands of contemporary digital listening while remaining ready for future streaming developments.
Designed to make a visual as well as an acoustic impact, Diva Alta Utopia combines sculptural proportions with distinctive floating side panels. Buyers can choose from premium felt finishes or hand-finished lacquered options, creating a striking aesthetic that complements its advanced engineering.
