BeaElipson Audio has announced the introduction of the new Connect 250 wireless streaming amplifier. With ‘Connected audio’ products being a key focus for 2021, this new and affordable amp ‘combines a compact size with the latest wireless tech for both domestic and commercial applications’.
The Connect 250 is a compact but powerful class D amplifier delivering an output of 2×50 watts and featuring music streaming capability at 44.1kHz/24bit with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 from any platform or from your stored music files.
Depending on network performance the Connect 250 can also provide multi-room audio for up to 10 rooms. The Connect 250 is particularly suitable for custom integration applications in the home or commercial locations such as bars, restaurants, gyms etc.
The two mounting brackets supplied means that it can be mounted on a wall or under a false ceiling or shelf. Plus, where line of site operation isn’t possible, a remote control and infrared cable are also supplied, whilst the audio connections on the rear are protected within covers to allow installation in damp or moist environments.
The Connect 250 is compatible with other products from the Elipson Connect range for multi-room audio use… the current W35, Wi-Fi Receiver and Music Centre Connect (due for launch in the new-year). Thanks also to Elipson Connect and Elipson BT Apps (Android and iOS) you can rename each Connect 250 device that appears on your network.
Elipson’s new Connect 250 amplifier will be available in the UK from mid. December at an affordable SRP of £249.
