BluOS has announced the launch of Queue Builder Mode, a new feature designed for intuitive queue and playlist management. Available now as part of the BluOS 4.12 software update, Queue Builder Mode has been introduced to give users a more efficient way to create personalised listening experiences while browsing their favourite streaming services.

Queue Builder Mode simplifies the way users build queues and playlists, allowing tracks to be added during search or discovery. As listeners explore streaming services or curated recommendations within the BluOS app, the feature makes it easy to capture tracks in the moment without interrupting playback.

“Queue Builder Mode has been designed to give listeners more flexibility and control,” says Andrew Haines, BluOS Product Manager. “It helps users create collections that suit their mood, their setup and the way they move through their living spaces – making it simple to shape the perfect soundtrack for every room in the home. For many listeners, personalisation is key to enjoying music. Queue Builder Mode makes that effortless, letting people build queues or playlists that truly reflect their taste, all without breaking the continuity of their listening experience.”

By making playlist creation more efficient, Queue Builder Mode allows listeners to spend less time managing and more time enjoying their music. Users can now capture songs as they discover them, build playlists that reflect their unique preferences and combine tracks from different streaming services.

The BluOS 4.12 update introduces Queue Builder Mode along with several other enhancements designed to elevate the user experience, including Qobuz Connect integration and DIRAC updates with support for previous models.

The update is available from today via the BluOS Controller app and will roll out to all BluOS

compatible products, including those from Bluesound, NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, Cyrus Audio, DALI Speakers and Monitor Audio.
