Wireless hi-res multi-room music brand, Bluesound has won the 2025-2026 EISA Award in the Multiroom Streamer category for the Node Icon music streamer.
EISA, the Expert Imaging and Sound Association, is an independent body of over 50 specialty electronics publications from around the world. The award winners are chosen as the best in their category from the thousands of products tested and reviewed by EISA member publications during the preceding year.
The editors of EISA’s hi-fi audio board recognised the Node Icon for its “exceptional versatility, premium sound quality and seamless integration” within any modern hi-fi or multiroom system, stating:
“Evolved from Bluesound’s Node and Node Nano Streamers, the flagship Node Icon deploys a new dual-mono DAC stage that delivers excellent sound quality from wired and wireless sources and debuts a 5in, full-colour display. Fitted with a slew of connections, including HDMI eARC and a balanced XLR output, this streamer is ready to function as the ‘brains’ of a whole music system, underpinned by the BluOS multiroom platform and app control. Airplay 2 and bi-directional Bluetooth, with aptX HD support, add to its versatility, while Dirac Live calibration is available to tackle ‘tricky’ room acoustics. Easy to use, gorgeously styled and packed with features, Bluesound’s newest NODE is a triumph.”
“We are very proud of this product. With the Node Icon, we set out to create a modern streamer that was the perfect blend of form, function, and fidelity,” says Matt Simmonds, Product Manager at Bluesound. “We are delighted that a global group of the most experienced and discerning experts in HiFi has recognised the Node Icon for its merits and given it their highest compliments.”
With the EISA Awards now in their fourth decade and a membership including the leading audio publications from Europe, The Americas and Asia-Pacific, the results are widely regarded as one of the highest honours in the hi-fi industry. To win an EISA award, products undergo a robust, rigorous and exhaustive judging process in two stages. Following intensive testing and audition by specialists at EISA member publications, each member submits a shortlist of the best products in each awards category before being put through a democratic voting process to establish a consensus of excellence and determine the winning products.
