Bang & Olufsen has introduced the Beosound 2 Gradient Collection, a limited-edition launch celebrating the possibilities of Bang & Olufsen’s Atelier programme.
Offered as part of Bang & Olufsen’s three-tiered level of service, the Atelier Catalogue provides customers with 500,000 possible combinations of colours, materials and finishes to design their own Bang & Olufsen product, all through a new digital tool.
The Beosound 2 Gradient Collection brings these customisation possibilities to life, featuring 10 exclusive gradient designs.
Atelier offers clients the opportunity to create custom-made products in collaboration with its master artisans in Struer, Denmark, offering opportunities for personal expression through creations and an array of customisation options.
Atelier was launched in response to a significant increase in requests for customisation and bespoke projects.
“A customer who commissions custom or bespoke Bang & Olufsen product creates not just a set of speakers, but an extension of their personality and style. We aim to create an experience and a product that resonates with them, building a lasting relationship between Bang & Olufsen and the customer,” says Bang & Olufsen CEO Kristian Teär.
Bang & Olufsen Atelier delivers customisation opportunities within the following areas:
- Atelier Bespoke: Collaborating directly with an Atelier artisan, clients can create custom products incorporating materials or specific colours for a one-off creation.
- Atelier Catalogue: Customers can choose from over 500,000 possible combinations of fabric, wood and aluminium finishes to produce their product.
- Atelier Editions: Limited editions of products in the portfolio.
To celebrate the Atelier launch, Bang & Olufsen will debut the Atelier Limited Edition Beosound 2 Gradient Collection. Featuring 10 different gradient combinations inspired by emotions shaped through sound, each colour gradient is limited to 10 engraved and numbered pieces.
The full Atelier experience will be available at select Bang & Olufsen stores. Customers can also explore customisation opportunities in the newly released digital composer at Bang & Olufsen Atelier.
Each Beosound 2 Gradient Collection will be available for £4,400 / $5,700 USD.
