As part of its centenary celebrations, Bang & Olufsen has unveiled two new Atelier loudspeakers: The Beolab 90 Phantom Edition and the Beolab 90 Mirage Edition.
Building on the success of the Titan Edition, these limited creations offer two contrasting design perspectives on B&O’s flagship loudspeaker: one sculpted in shadow and the other alive with colour.
The Beolab 90 Phantom Edition is a study in monochromatic drama and technical sophistication. Cloaked in black tones, the Phantom Edition channels the raw power of motorsport aesthetics into a sculptural form.
Semi-transparent black PVD metal mesh reveals the speaker’s inner architecture, creating a holographic effect that changes with every angle, while a sculptural face mask, base panels and shoulder plates crafted from carbon fibre celebrate lightweight strength and motorsport-inspired aesthetics.
A pearl-blaster aluminium skeleton frames the acoustic mesh panels, while the unified aluminium skeleton integrates beams and knots into one continuous structure, complemented by precision trim rings for refinement.
Every detail of the Phantom Edition has been obsessively engineered and hand-finished with carbon fibre panels layered by hand in a pure artisan process.

In stark contrast to the Phantom Edition, the Beolab 90 Mirage Edition is a celebration of colour, sporting an iridescent fabric between sapphire and magenta hues – designed to echo the fluidity of sound waves and the dynamism of light.
Five precision milled aluminium parts per speaker are anodised with bespoke gradients, complemented by wave-textured surfaces that echo sound ripples.
Beolab 90 Phantom and Mirage Edition mark the continuation of a journey: five exclusive editions handcrafted by Bang & Olufsen Atelier to celebrate the brand’s 100-year legacy.
Each edition is crafted in a limited series of 10 pairs, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
