Audio-Technica’s AT-LP70xBT is the latest turntable to join the brand’s home audio portfolio.
Acting as a sophisticated gateway for audiophiles taking their first steps into the world of vinyl, the AT-LP70xBT Fully Automatic Wireless Belt-Drive Turntable combines the tactility and warmth of analogue audio with the convenience of Bluetooth technology.
Designed to provide a user-friendly experience with every spin, the AT-LP70xBT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records at the touch of a button. Offering a simple wireless connection to powered speakers and headphones, the turntable is compatible with the Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio codec for high quality music playback – no cables necessary.
The AT-LP70xBT is equally optimised for wired setups, with a built-in switchable phono preamp. For those wishing to complete their home audio setup, the AT-LP70XBT can be connected to speakers via the included RCA cable for an easy-to-manage sound system that fits in any room and requires no external amplifier.
At the heart of the AT-LP70xBT is a high quality phono cartridge that draws upon the brand’s expertise to deliver high-fidelity audio.
Integrated with the J-shaped tonearm, the AT-VM95C cartridge features a 0.6 mil conical stylus crafted to provide channel separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality.
To further personalise vinyl listening, the stylus can also be easily upgraded with any other styli (elliptical, micro linear, or Shibata) in Audio-Technica’s VM95 Series.
While the AT-LP70xBT is ideal for fledgling vinyl enthusiasts, its sound performance will impress even the most seasoned audiophiles. Its stylish three-piece anti-resonance chassis provides a solid foundation to dampen unwanted noise, replicating music with clarity and detail.
The AT-LP70xBT comes in three finishes with a removable hinged dust cover: Black Silver, White Silver and Black Bronze.
The Audio-Technica AT-LP70xBT will be available in August 2024, RRP £219 / €249 / $249.
