Audio-Technica has released the ATH-ADX3000 high-fidelity open-back headphones. Handcrafted in Machida, Tokyo, each pair has been meticulously assembled from components built in-house and rigorously tested by the brand’s team of engineers.
Paying homage to Japan’s revered tradition for craftsmanship, the ATH-ADX3000 are also a testament to Audio-Technica’s six decades of audio innovation.
Building on the success of the open-back ATH-ADX5000 model launched in 2017, the ATH-ADX3000’s high-quality exposed drivers ensure the flow of air is unrestricted to eliminate unwanted distortion during audio playback.
In addition, the ATH-ADX3000’s lightweight design and comfort is achieved by streamlining their construction, with the engineers carefully assembling each component to create a minimalistic finish.
Speaking to their development, lead engineer Hiromichi Ozawa says, “Our engineers worked hard to achieve frequencies that are not easy to obtain with natural airflow. Our expertise in driver technology has influenced our approach to open-back headphones, enabling us to ensure the diaphragm moves with the purest motion.”
The ATH-ADX3000 will be available from today, RRP £859 / €999.
