ADI has announced the launch of the Araknis Networks 530 Wi-Fi 7 Indoor Access Point (AN-530-AP-I), delivering wireless performance designed specifically for professional residential and small-to-medium business installations. Available now in the U.S. and Puerto Rico beginning March 30, the new access point expands the Araknis Networks wireless portfolio.
“Dealers need to deliver faster, more reliable networks while also reducing configuration time and onsite troubleshooting,” says Nima Jamshidi, Director of Product Management – Networking at ADI. “The Araknis Networks 530 Wi-Fi 7 Access Point addresses both challenges by combining professional-grade Wi-Fi 7 performance with intelligent tools that simplify installation and ongoing management. Fully integrated with ADI’s OvrC remote management platform, it gives integrators greater visibility, automation and control across the network.”
Designed for device-heavy homes and modern business environments such as hybrid workspaces, retail locations, cafés and SMB offices, the Araknis 530 is designed to deliver high throughput, low latency and reliable roaming for growing numbers of connected devices including smartphones, AV systems, MoIP solutions and surveillance platforms. Concurrent tri-band Wi-Fi 7 performance helps ensure stable connectivity in increasingly congested wireless environments.
In addition to helping deliver next-generation wireless speeds, the Araknis 530 introduces a new generation of intelligent management tools designed to streamline deployment and simplify ongoing support.
These smart tools include Wi-Fi optimisation, an automated channel-tuning capability designed to improve performance in challenging RF environments; proximity view, designed to provide clear insight into access point placement and spacing without requiring time-consuming site walkthroughs; and bridge mode, which allows integrators to extend network coverage when running physical cabling is impractical.
Together, these smart tools help reduce installation complexity, improve roaming performance and minimise service calls by providing predictable network behavior across real-world residential and SMB installations.
The Araknis 530 is fully integrated with the OvrC connected ecosystem, designed to allow integrators to remotely configure, monitor and manage network performance through a single unified interface. Remote visibility and automated optimisation reduce troubleshooting time and help prevent unnecessary truck rolls while ensuring reliable long-term operation.
Notably, the new Wi-Fi 7 platform is fully backward compatible with existing Araknis Wi-Fi 6 access points, designed to allow integrators to upgrade network performance incrementally at their own pace without an immediate overhaul of existing installations.
“The Araknis Networks 530 represents a significant step forward for the platform,” adds Nima. “By combining Wi-Fi 7 performance with intelligent optimisation tools and seamless OvrC management, we’re giving integrators a future-ready solution that is easy to deploy, simple to support, and designed for the kinds of environments they work in every day.”
