OSD is a US brand offering strong value and high performance across in-wall, in-ceiling and IP-rated outdoor loudspeakers including rock shaped designs to blend into outdoor living spaces.
Leveraging the brand’s US-success, economies of scale allow OSD to offer high-performance, great looking loudspeakers at exceptionally keen price points to deliver best in class value for installers, says the supplier.
Available through Alltrade on-line or at any one of its six trade counters across the south of the UK, the OSD in-ceiling line-up spans 6.5in and 8in models, ranged to offer installers and their customers a straightforward good, better, best trade-up route.
The range opens with the affordable ACE600, featuring a 6.5in polypropylene driver and silk dome tweeter on a pivoting mount. The step-up ACE640TT is a single speaker stereo model featuring a fibreglass reinforced driver and dual titanium coated tweeters.
The flagship ACE650 and ACE850 are high performance designs featuring Kevlar and mineral filled composite cones and a 1in titanium dome tweeter on pivoting mount. All models offer high power handling, simple to fit dog-leg clamps and paintable, trimless grilles.
For outdoor installs, Alltrade’s OSD range encompasses affordable, weather resistant patio and rock speakers in a number of finishes to match garden décor and design.
The surface mount AP650 patio speaker features a robust composite cabinet, potent 6.5in polypropylene woofer and a 1in silk done tweeter. Available in black or white finish, each speaker has a 70V switch option for commercial installs and comes supplied with a swivel mounting bracket.
Blending with garden décor, the budget RX500 rock speaker is available in light grey, mid-brown or dark grey polypropylene cabinet with realistically rock shaped textured surface. Available in stereo pairs, each RX550 rock speaker features full-range 5.25in polypropylene driver and concealed amplifier connections.
The OSD range joins Alltrade’s growing portfolio of CI speakers from brands including ELAN, Sunfire and Sonance by Sonos, offering installers a choice of styles, sizes and performance levels for in-wall, in-ceiling and outdoor placement.
