NAD Introduces C 3030 and C 3030S Integrated Amplifiers

NAD Electronics has expanded its heritage-inspired Classic Series with the launch of two new stereo integrated amplifiers, the NAD C 3030 and NAD C 3030S.

Blending timeless industrial design with modern performance and connectivity, the new models build on the success of the NAD C 3050 anniversary edition while making the Classic Series aesthetic available in more compact and accessible forms.

Inspired by NAD’s iconic amplifiers of the late 1970s, the C 3030 and C 3030S reference the original NAD 3030 through subtle visual cues including VU meters, a black faceplate and the classic script NAD logo. Behind the retro styling, both amplifiers reflect NAD’s contemporary engineering approach, prioritising sound quality, reliability and everyday usability.

“The response to the C 3050 reflects a wider shift toward more intentional listening,” said Morten Nielsen, NAD Product Manager. “Vinyl and CD are returning not as replacements for streaming, but as a way to reconnect with music in a more deliberate way. With the C 3030, our goal was to make that experience accessible to more listeners. There is a tangible connection in the physical act of listening—placing a needle on a record or inserting a CD—that brings music to life. The C 3030 captures that sense of heritage while delivering the performance and simplicity expected from a modern NAD amplifier.”

Design That Goes Beyond Nostalgia

While the visual language draws on NAD’s past, the C 3030 and C 3030S are not replicas. Their proportions are intentionally closer to the original NAD 3030 than the larger C 3050, resulting in a compact chassis designed to fit naturally into modern living spaces. NAD describes the approach as reinterpretation rather than recreation, balancing tactile appeal and visual warmth with contemporary functionality.

This design philosophy reflects a broader shift in how audio components coexist with everyday life. As music systems increasingly share space with furniture and interior design, NAD positions the C 3030 range as products designed to be seen, used and kept, offering an alternative to anonymous black boxes or overly stylised retro designs.

NAD C 3030: Heritage Style Meets Essential Performance

The NAD C 3030 Stereo Integrated Amplifier is aimed at listeners seeking a streamlined Hi-Fi experience with distinctive design. Delivering 50 watts per channel, the amplifier is engineered to provide clean, dynamic power with the musical accuracy and control associated with NAD’s amplification heritage.

Despite its vintage-inspired appearance, the C 3030 is equipped for modern use. HDMI eARC enables simple integration with a television, allowing users to enhance TV, film and gaming sound through a stereo system. Bluetooth with aptX HD supports high-quality wireless playback, while a bass-managed subwoofer output with adjustable high-pass filtering allows for well-integrated 2.1 system configurations.

Positioned as the most accessible vintage-styled amplifier in NAD’s Classic Series, the C 3030 offers an entry point for listeners seeking character, practicality and proven performance without unnecessary complexity.

NAD C 3030S: Classic Form with Streaming-Centric Functionality

Building on the same design foundation, the NAD C 3030S Integrated Streaming Amplifier adds BluOS high-resolution multi-room streaming for greater versatility. Supporting lossless playback up to 24-bit/192kHz and native MQA decoding, BluOS provides access to more than 20 streaming services, internet radio and local or networked music libraries, all controlled via a dedicated app.

In addition to BluOS, the C 3030S includes HDMI eARC, Bluetooth with aptX HD, a built-in moving magnet phono stage for vinyl playback, analogue and optical digital inputs and a bass-managed subwoofer output. This connectivity allows the amplifier to function as a complete standalone streaming system, the centre of a 2.1 setup or part of a wider multi-room audio installation.

Like the C 3030, the C 3030S delivers 50 watts per channel of NAD amplification. It is also the most affordable BluOS-enabled amplifier in the Classic Series, extending the platform’s capabilities to a broader audience within a design-led product.

Classic Series Philosophy

Behind the distinctive aesthetics, both amplifiers reflect NAD’s long-standing engineering priorities, including real-world power delivery, tonal accuracy and long-term reliability. Designed to remain composed and engaging across a range of listening levels and loudspeaker loads, the C 3030 and C 3030S are positioned as serious Hi-Fi components as well as visual statements.

With these introductions, NAD continues to evolve the Classic Series beyond limited editions or premium-only models, reinforcing its commitment to creating products that connect with listeners visually, emotionally and sonically.
