Lutron Unveils Palladiom Drapery

Lutron has expanded its premium Palladiom range with the global launch of Palladiom Drapery, a new automated drapery system designed to bring the collection’s distinctive architectural aesthetic to decorative soft window treatments.

Featuring a clean exposed-rod design, seamless smart home integration and an optional Swarovski crystal finial, the new system broadens the Palladiom family while responding to growing demand for layered, design-led interiors.

Developed to complement the increasing popularity of soft window treatments, Palladiom Drapery combines the elegance of a traditional drapery rod with discreet automation. According to Lutron’s 2026 Luxury Residential Trend Report: Living with Light, 56% of designers now incorporate automated window treatments into their projects, underlining the growing appeal of integrated shading solutions.

“Palladiom Drapery represents an important evolution of our window treatment portfolio,” says Javier Segovia, Vice President, Sales and Services, UK & Europe at Lutron. “For the first time, designers can extend the Palladiom experience across both roller shades and drapery, creating a more cohesive approach to window treatments throughout the home.”

Arianne Bellizaire, interior designer and independent Lutron shades stylist, adds, “Window treatments have the power to bring warmth, texture and movement to a space. Palladiom Drapery allows those elements to be incorporated without sacrificing the thoughtful detailing and understated elegance that define the Palladiom aesthetic.”

Palladiom Drapery reimagines the traditional drapery rod through a slender unibody aluminium design that conceals the majority of its automation components within the rod itself. The result is a minimalist exposed-rod appearance that retains the structural strength needed to support substantial fabrics while maintaining the refined design language associated with the Palladiom range.

The system is available in five hand-crafted finishes: Pure White, Black Anodized, Clear Anodized, Bronze Anodized and Satin Nickel. Installers and designers can also specify one of three end treatment options – End Bracket, End Cap or Finial – allowing the system to be tailored to a wide variety of interior schemes.

A standout option within the range is an exclusive finial created in partnership with Swarovski. The two companies developed a custom-cut crystal specifically for Palladiom Drapery, refining its proportions and light interaction through multiple design iterations. Integrated into a machined aluminium finial and colour-matched to each finish, the crystal provides a subtle decorative detail while preserving the collection’s understated architectural character.

“Palladiom Drapery has always been about seamlessly integrating technology with beautiful design. Our partnership with Swarovski extends that philosophy, bringing together two brands that share a passion for craftsmanship and precision. The result is an elegant architectural detail that is intentional, timeless and uniquely Palladiom,” says Ed Blair, President and Vice Chairman, Lutron Electronics.

Designed for both new-build and renovation projects, the Palladiom range now brings together keypads, control accessories, automated roller shades and automated drapery under a consistent design language focused on precision engineering and craftsmanship. The latest addition enables designers to specify coordinated lighting controls, roller shades and decorative drapery throughout an entire property while maintaining a unified visual aesthetic.

Palladiom Drapery is available to order from July 20, 2026.

Alongside the product launch, Lutron has announced the appointment of interior designer Arianne Bellizaire as its inaugural Shades Stylist.
