Invision UK and Anthem AV Solutions have announced that visitor numbers were 10% higher at this year’s Expo when compared to last year, with 396 installers attending this year’s event at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey over the two days.
“It was our largest showcase so far and the growth in visitor numbers exceeded our expectations,” enthuses Steve Beahan, Invision UK’s managing director.
“It’s the fourth year that we have organised our own event and I was delighted with the attendance. Back in 2013, we had just 14 exhibitors, this year over 25 industry-leading manufacturer’s unveiled new smart-home technology and home cinema innovations to our customers.”
Installers were able to spend one-on-one time with manufacturers, get ‘hands on’ with their latest products on the show floor and hear thought provoking keynotes from international speakers including Jeremy Burkhardt, Origin Acoustics, Massimo Zecchin, SIM2 and Michael de Nigris, Autonomic’s Co-Founder and CEO.
Jamie Voss from Matthew Aerial and Satellite Systems commented that the show was “educational and completely worthwhile,” while Richard Bell from 1080 Integration said that there was “the best selection of products and industry experts available”.
Home Technology Showcase 2016 saw the exclusive UK debut of Zappiti, a movie content management system, Comelit, a leading door entry solution as well as launches from Artnovion, acoustic room treatments and Moovia, luxury home cinema seating.
There were also new products introduced by Aquavision, which was showing its Tailored Collection, while SIM2’s demonstrated its flagship AR Projector. Exclusive previews included the Autonomic eSeries and Paradigm’s High-End Concept Speakers.
The dates and venue for the next Home Technology Showcase will be announced soon.
