SpeakerCraft is spending ISE 2016 focusing on two key products; the Profile line of in-ceiling and in-wall speaker and its flagship AIM LCR Series of in-wall speakers.

Joining the Profile line of speakers is two new in-ceiling Accufit UltraSlim models, designed for spaces too shallow for traditional in-ceiling speakers. What’s special about these models are the fact that they only need 2in of behind-surface depth.

Also joining the Profile line of products will be two new models in the ‘Wide’ series; designed for creating a diffused rear sound field in a home theatre.

Despite those two products being massive launches for SpeakerCraft at ISE 2016, the company is also responding to requests directly from its dealers who have asked for a solution where maximum sound diffusion is needed.

The solution to that problem is supposedly the new top-of-the-line Profile AIM LCR FIVE and LCR5 FIVE, each featuring kevlar woofers with an independently pivoting ¾in aluminium/magnesium dome tweeter.

“The new SpeakerCraft AIM LCR FIVE Series is our new top-of-the-line in-wall series, designed to complement every high-end home theatre,” explains Matt Dever, Core Brands product manager, audio at ISE 2016.

“We developed these two new models with top performance in mind, adding kevlar woofers and an aluminium-magnesium tweeter to AIM’s patented pivoting baffle to create a more realistic and enveloping sound stage that focuses the sound directly into the listening area.”

Customers wanting to experience these new models can do so at the company’s stand at ISE 2016, but according to SpeakerCraft these speakers are capable of ‘superior response across the frequency spectrum, greater clarity and richer, tighter bass’.

The AIM LCR5 Five is a two-way, in-wall LCR (left, centre, right) speaker with dual 5 ¼in kevlar woofers and 1in tweeter mounted on a pivoting speaker baffle. The speaker offers two 5 ¼in woofers phase plugs for easy use and an independently pivoting 1in aluminium-magnesium dome tweeter.

The AIM LCR5 FIVE features bass and treble EQ switches and delivers a 48Hz – 20kHz frequency response, with power handling of 100W and adjustable impedance of 8/6 Ohm. Each speaker offers a sensitivity rate of 91dB 1W/1m.

The AIM LCR3 Five also offers a two-way, in-wall LCR (left, centre, right) speaker but with compact dual 3in kevlar woofers and a ¾in aluminium-magnesium tweeter mounted on the pivoting speaker baffle. The AIM LCR3 FIVE delivers a 60Hz – 20kHz frequency response and includes offers a 2-position treble EQ switch and 8 Ohm compatibility. Its power handling is 60W and a sensitivity rate of 86dB 1W/1m.

Core Brands is hoping to see installers integrate these two speakers with flat panel video monitors.

“Both the AIM LCR5 Five and AIM LCR3 Five provide the sleek flange-less appearance designers and their customers appreciate,” continues Matt, “and both are timbre-matched to All FIVE Series speakers – including AIM Series 2 in-ceiling speakers – for the ultimate surround sound theatre experience.”

All of the new Profile speakers are available on Core Brands’ stand at ISE 2016 (1-N53) and are shipping directly to authorised dealers.

In addition to these new Profile speakers, SpeakerCraft is also introducing new multi-packs of the AIM Classic AIM7 TWO and AIM8 ONE, packaged for higher value for our production and builder partners.

“SpeakerCraft already has one of the broadest selections of award-winning speakers on the market and these new additions give us even a greater ability to meet every need a dealer may have,” concludes Core Brands marketing director, Bill Hensley. “We are happy to be showcasing these at ISE 2016.”
