Distributor Habitech says it is delighted to be expanding the system design options available from Sonance with these new high-output subs for commercial and residential projects.
Pro Series PS-S210SUBT Bandpass Subwoofer
The Sonance Pro Series PS-S210SUBT bandpass subwoofer features a shallow design which allows it to be deployed discreetly in a wide variety of specialised applications, typically under restaurant booths or banquettes (using the included feet), mounted to the sides of rafters, on walls or under ceilings (with the optional C-bracket). Its slender polyurethane-coated, laminated-plywood enclosure, having a cross-section measuring just 228mm high by 350mm deep, houses twin 10in (254mm) low profile, high excursion drivers, specifically engineered in-house for this product. A choice front or side cabinet port locations offers further installation versatility.
The PS-S210SUBT features Sonance’s Laminated Core Technology Transformer (SLCT), delivering full-fidelity performance in either 70V or 100V mode. This, combined with the built-in low pass filter, allows the subwoofer to be driven on the same feed as the other full-range loudspeakers in a system, avoiding the need for additional amplifier channels and DSP.
Dropping to 44Hz (-3dB) at a maximum free-air SPL of 121dB (1m) this discreet, 94dB efficient design will complement Sonance Pro Series Pendant, In-Ceiling and On-Wall speakers, and any high quality satellite line array to deliver wide bandwidth and strong detail retrieval for music distribution applications.
Sonance S10-i 10in Active Sub
Well suited for smaller home theatre applications this compact entry-level cube will contribute high output bass dynamics to satellite systems in dedicated or media room spaces. Mounted to a textured black finish cabinet measuring just 300mm x 310mm x 320mm, a 10in (254mm) ultra-long throw woofer is driven by a low-distortion 275W amplifier (550W peak) to deliver deep impactful low frequencies from corners or room boundaries while being very economical with living space.
The S10-i offers dual line-level (Left/LFE and Right) inputs as well as easy system tuning using volume, crossover, and variable phase controls. Offering Sonance audio engineering at a competitive market entry price, the S-10-i will add percussive depth and value to Sonance or third-party satellite systems.
