Habitech has announced the availability of a new range of Projecta screens featuring an advanced ‘HD Progressive’ screen surface designed to maximise the colour fidelity, uniformity and pixel resolution of 4K and UHD image projection.
Formulated by Milestone and shared by its Da-Lite and Projecta brands, the ‘HD Progressive’ line of projection surfaces is designed to create a surface free of microscopic variances in order to reflect accurately the colours, uniformity and full pixel resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 UHD and 4,096 × 2,160 4K images.
“We’re delighted to be offering Projecta’s advanced ‘HD Progressive’ screens in tandem with our JVC 4K-ready projectors as part of Habitech’s desire to promote and supply the very best in high performance home theatre,” says Habitech brand manager Graham Nash.
Offering a 170° viewing angle for reduced viewing distances in line with the latest requirements for Ultra HD/4K home cinema projection, the smooth ‘HD Progressive’ surface allows the screen ‘essentially to disappear’ in order to deliver the full potential of HD, 4K and Ultra HD resolutions.
HD Progressive screens at 0.9 gain are now available through Habitech on Projecta’s tensioned in-ceiling recessed, surface mounted and fixed frame screens.
HD Progressive is available in a 0.6, 0.9, 1.1 and 1.3 gain versions.
