Pro-Ject has released details of the Colourful Audio System 2 and Colourful Audio System E created to be ready-made setups for vinyl fans.
Pro-Ject Audio Systems has introduced these two complete Hi-Fi systems designed to simplify access to high-quality stereo sound. Each system includes a turntable, amplifier and stereo speakers, offering high-performance Hi-Fi without the complexity of selecting and matching components.
A well-matched separates system – comprising a source, amplifier and stereo speakers – provides an immersive and enjoyable listening experience of course. The Colourful Audio System 2 includes a Debut EVO 2 turntable, a MaiA S3 amplifier and a pair of Speaker Box 5 S2 bookshelf speakers. The Debut EVO 2 features a carbon fibre tonearm and a heavy, damped aluminium platter, fitted with the Pick it MM EVO cartridge. The MaiA S3 amplifier measures just 206cm wide but delivers 40W per channel and supports eight inputs, including Bluetooth and a phono stage.
The system also includes Pro-Ject’s Damp it rubber feet for optimal isolation and a pair of terminated Connect it LS E speaker cables. The amplifier comes in black, while the turntable and speakers are available in six satin finishes (black, fir green, golden yellow, steel blue, white and wine red), with wine red exclusive to this system, along with a walnut real wood veneer option.
The Colourful Audio System E pairs the Debut E turntable with the Stereo Box E amplifier and Speaker Box 5 E Carbon bookshelf speakers. The Debut E, designed specifically for this package, features a solid MDF plinth, aluminium tonearm and Ortofon OM5e cartridge. The Stereo Box E amplifier delivers 40W per channel, with six inputs and Bluetooth streaming. The Speaker Box 5 E Carbon speakers feature a silk dome tweeter and a carbon fibre woofer. Like the Colourful Audio System 2, the Colourful Audio System E is available in five satin finishes (black, fir green, golden yellow, steel blue, and white) plus a walnut veneer option, with the amplifier finished in black.
