Jordan O'BrienAtlona has appointed a new distributor in Italy, with Prase Media Technologies set to handle the company’s products in the region.
The distribution agreement with Prase Media Technologies is effective immediately, with the distributor based just outside of the city of Venice. Atlona hopes that Prase’s 20 years of AV experience in the Italian market will be just what it needs to improve its sales in the region.
Prase was formed in 1993 by Alberto and Ennio Prase as distributors of professional audio equipment for the Italian market. The company’s commitment to its clients, partners and projects was honoured in 2013 with the InAVation ‘Distributor of the Year’ award.
Looking to expand its offerings with solutions that enable synergies between AV technologies and IP-based networks, Prase found Atlona to be an ideal partner for addressing this accelerating trend.
