MuxLab Inc. has revealed a new 16×16 UltraHD 4K60 Matrix for HDMI 2.0 at CEDIA Expo 2015.
Delivering uncompressed 4K60 video across all zones in a user’s home, MuxLab has added a whole host of new features to its latest AV solution to make it as installer-friendly as possible.
Supporting external control via RS232, IR, IP or the web, installers will be able to integrate MuxLab’s latest matrix with numerous home automation systems.
While installer-friendliness is important, MuxLab also wants users to be able to get to grips with the system easily – offering a 7in LCD touchscreen for sharing AV sources.
At CEDIA Expo 2015, MuxLab has brought with its seven new products; with a new Video Wall over IP solution among them.
The company hopes that this product will benefit installers in the commercial market – offering advertisers the ability to display marketing on one screen while airing sports on the others. It will also work by sending one source across the screen array, all at 1080p Full HD.
The system uses an off-the-shelf gigabit network (LAN) connection (supporting 16 sources and 200 displays at 100m extension) which can be used in both residential and commercial applications. MuxLab also offers switching control software.
“New Video over IP, HDBaseT extender kits and HDMI 2.0 based matrices supporting UltraHD 4K60 are technologies that blur the lines between products used in commercial and residential applications. At MuxLab we apply these latest technologies to our innovation to ensure our products are relevant and compatible for both markets,” says Mark Bohbot, director of R&D at MuxLab Inc.
Installers wanting to experience a live demo or to speak with a MuxLab team member, can find the company at Booth #3523.
