Installing a TV is simple, right? You just mount it on the wall, plug it in, and you’re done. Well, it may sound simple, but once again we have proof that it’s not as easy as everyone thinks. That’s thanks to Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull, whose TV set-up has caused quite a ruckus on social media.
For Australia’s most powerful man, Turnbull’s TV set-up isn’t anything fancy. In fact, it consists predominantly of just a TV display and a set-top box. Unfortunately, simple doesn’t exactly translate to clean.
Looking at Turnbull’s set-up the obvious flaw comes from the mess of cables that can be found behind the television and set-top box. They seemingly flow in every direction with cable tidies being used to no avail. Some commenters have even suggested that the mess of wires could potentially cause a hazard, which I’m sure many AV installers will agree with.
Australians were quick to point out that this isn’t the first time Turnbull’s AV set-up has been lacking in any style, or function. The country’s Prime Minister was spotted watching the results of Australia’s gay marriage survey on a TV that was essentially located on the floor.
Thankfully, there is a silver lining in this tale. That’s because an electrician in Melbourne has offered his services to overhaul Turnbull’s AV set-up. It also seems like the Prime Minister’s Office is willing to take the electrician up on his offer, meaning soon Turnbull may have the best AV set-up of any world leader… All thanks to an AV installer.
Phil, let’s talk. Don’t suppose you do curtains as well? https://t.co/84NbaV0sQI
